Klee, Paul - National Gallery of Canada

The Berggruen Collection from The Metropolitan Museum of Art
This exhibition’s seventy-five drawings, watercolours and oils by Swiss artist Paul Klee were gifted to The Metropolitan Museum of Art by one of the postwar era’s renowned art dealers and collectors, Heinz Berggruen. The works encompass all aspects of Klee’s art, as both draughtsman and painter. This is the first Canadian exhibition (16.11.2018 - 17.03.2019) in nearly four decades to be devoted to Klee and provides a full survey of his prolific career. (Text: National Gallery of Canada)
