Print Promises - South African National Gallery

Print Promises brings together more than 50 works by artists utilising printmaking in different ways, from woodcuts to screen prints, and etchings to lithographs. Using the permanent collection of the Iziko South African National Gallery, the exhibition (08.06.2018 - 30.09.2018) includes historical works from the 18th century up until newly produced works from 2017. It shows the diverse possibilities and influences of printmaking on art-making, and how artists have found unique approaches to engage with the technique (Text: South African National Gallery)
